      II.New Teaching:


      1. Teacher introduce herself to the students: “My name is Lily. I’m from No.1 Chaoyang Primary School. I like reading books, Can you guess how old I am.” Let the pupils guess       2.Yes, I’m 29 years old. And My birthday is in January.
      3. Teach the new word “January” with the calendar.
      

Ask “Whose birthday is in January, either?” After they speak “My birthday is in January.”
      III.Consolidation.
      
      Ask “how many birthdays are there?” Help them to answer “There are five.”
      4. Teach the new sentences.
      5. Teach the new word “February”
      6. How many days are there in February?(28\29) How many days are there in March?
      7. Teach “March”, talk about what the students like to do in March.

      V.Homework:
      3. Ask “What is Lingling doing?” Teach “She is counting her friend’s birthdays.”
      4. Let them fill in the forms about the birthday numbers in different months according to the text.
      5. They can talk in pairs about the answers with that piece of paper.
      6. Open their books, repeat the text.
      7. Show them a picture of a red heart, let them write their names on it, then stick it on the calendar according to their own birthdays. For examples, my birthday is in January, I can stick it to the calendar of January.
      8. Talk about the amount of the birthdays in different months with their classmates.
