写作任务
英语角挂出下面三幅各具特色的图片，它们分别代表我国有名城市三亚、武汉和拉萨，同时给出一个表格列出这三个城市的具体信息。当天来英语角的同学需要根据表格内容，结合所学的地理知识，选择其中的一个城市进行简要的介绍。
要求：不少于60词。

写作分析:
这次的写作任务要求介绍一个城市。具体来说,我们可以参照表格中的内容,从这个城市的地理位置、气候特征、主要景点及其他特色方面来介绍。
1. 描述地理位置很简单,可以这样表述:to / in the south / north / east / west of 在……南部/ 北部/东部/西部; in the middle of 在……中间。
2. 气候特征看起来很难表述,其实很简单。以武汉为例,"四季分明"可以这样说:Wuhan has four seasons；"降水充沛"可以说:plenty of rain 或abundant rainfall。 3. 关于旅游景点(scenic spot)的介绍,并不要求很具体,只要让读者了解有这个景点就够了。当然,假如大家能够查阅相关资料,生动地描述某个有名景点就更好了。
下面看看初稿。
初稿:
Wuhan is in the middle of China. It’s the capital of Hubei. It has four seasons. In summer, it’s very hot, but in winter, it’s very cold. It has plenty of rain all year round. Because of its important location, Wuhan has been very famous for a long time. Wuhan also has many scenic spots. The Yellow Crane Tower and Guiyuan Zenist Temple are the most famous ones. Wuhan welcomes travelers from home and abroad.
初稿分析:
初稿能根据表格所给的信息,从各个不同侧面对武汉进行介绍,句子简洁明了,也没有明显的语法错误,而且有几个短语非常出彩,比如all year round; travelers from home and abroad(中外游客)等。
但文章也存在不足之处。句式变化不大,句子过于平淡,句与句之间衔接不够自然,信息点分布过于零散。为了有效地解决这些问题,分段描述不失为一个好办法。可以将问题以排列的方式列出。

Wuhan,the capital of Hubei, is located in the middle of China. Because of its important location, it has been very famous for a long time. It’s also famous for its beautiful scenery. The Yellow Crane Tower and Guiyuan Zenist Temple are the most famous scenic spots.Wuhan has four seasons. In summer, it’s very hot; but in winter, it’s pretty cold. It also has plenty of rain all year round. Wuhan is a beautiful city with a long history. It welcomes travelers from home and abroad.

Wuhan,the capital of Hubei, is located in the middle of China. 湖北省会武汉位于中国中部。表达某地位于某处有多种方法,可以用词组be in, be located / situated in, 也可用动词lie, stand等等。例如:Guangzhou is in the south of Guangdong. = Guangzhou is located / situated in the south of Guangdong.= Guangzhou lies in the south of Guangdong.广州位于广东南部。
2. Because of its important location, it has been very famous for a long time. (武汉)因其重要的地理位置而久负盛名。
