(The students read the text followed the computer loudly. Then answer the teacher’s questions. Later, they go on learning the text by themselves.)
(课文的学习部分,我借助电脑多媒体课件,为学生创设出情景,我们的好朋友Daming正在给Sam讲解他的project,问学生是否想知道。在听课文以前,我利用自制的网页给学生提出六个问题,让学生带着问题看课文,激发学生自主学习的爱好,然后学生自己利用教学网页来学习课文,学生看课文后回答问题。这部分的设计将课堂教学由过去注重教师教转化为现在的学生学上,体现以学生为主体的教学模式。)

T: Who can tell me what is the capital of America?
S: Washington. D.C.
T: What other cities do you know about America?
(The students talk about other cities they know.)
T: Now, let’s look at the signs.
S: It’s east, west, south and north.
T: Look at the cities on the right. Where is New York?
S: It’s in the east.
(Talk about the location of San Francisco and Washington. D.C. in the same way.)

(There are five students in a group. The group leader will ask the country, capital, language and the location of the capital. The other group members should answer.)
