      教材简介:
      本课教学内容选自《新概念英语》(New Concept English for Children)2A (四年级上学期)Unit 12.在要求把握run, fly 这两个动词的基础上,我增加了一些生活中常用的单词和短语,如: jump, swim, cook, use a computer, play the piano等,以便使学生在语言交际中更加紧密联系生活实际。
      教学理念:
      件、可靠棵,可靠 新的英语课程标准提出了任务型教学理念,所谓任务就是让学生用英语完成各种真实的对话、学习、工作等任务(即做各种事情)从而培养学生用英语做事的能力。这节课我依据任务型教学理念,结合教学内容设计了一些任务,吸引和组织他们积极参与学习活动。通过小组活动式教学,采用游戏、竞赛、思考、调查、讨论、交流和合作等方式,并借助现代化教学手段激发学生学习英语的爱好,学生始终处于一种积极的主动的学习心理状态。通过师生间,学生间动态的信息交流,实现了师生互动、生生互动,相互沟通、相互影响,相互补充,从而达到共识、共享、共进。
      教学内容
      1.词汇:run, fly,jump, swim, cook, use a computer, catch a mouse, play the piano
      2.句型: What can you do? I can__. But I can’t __.
      功能:谈论自己、他人及一些动物所能做的事情。
      运用任务
      1. 信息差任务:(1)Listen and do.(2)猜单词的游戏;(3)每组讨论一个动物的特点,并猜别的组讨论的是什么动物。
      2. 个人调查任务: 调查组内其他同学所能做的事情,并统计人数.
      3.合作任务:(1) 找出隐藏在表格里的动词;(2)填动物表格(3) 课后以组为单位画柱状图;
      教学预备: CAI课件. 动物头饰, 单词表, 调查表.
      教学过程:
      Ⅰ。Warming up:
      1.Greetings.
      2. T: Shall we sing an English song? Sing the song <Do Re Mi>
      .Revision:
      1. Game: Listen and do.
      Let’s play a game, OK? For example, I say: Can you sing? If you can sing please stand up and say: Yes, I can. If you can’t sing you just sit and say: No, I can’t.      T: Can you see/ hear/ walk/dance/speak/draw a picture/play football/clime a tree/touch…? Ss: Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.
      T: Can you fly? Ss: No, I can’t. T: Can Miss Cao fly? No, I can’t fly. But I can run. (师生间信息差:教师发出信息后,学生要快速做出反应。任务目的是复习所学过的动词、动词短语和句型:Can you…? Ye, I can. /No I can’t. 这项任务既练习了学生的听觉、身体协调能力和反映速度,同时自然地引出新课。)
      2. Presention: I can __. But I can’t __. (T write the sentences on the Bb)
      T: Today we’ll discuss this topic: What can you do? I can do____, but I can’t do____.
      . New content:
      1. Read the sentence: What can you do?
      2.单词教学(CAI).
      (1) First let’s learn some new words. Watch the screen (run). What can they do? Teach the word “run”.
      T: Can you run? Ss: Yes, I can run.
      T: Who can run fastest in your class? Which animal can run?
      (2)(CAI) T: What’s this? What can a bird do? It can fly. Teach “fly”. T: Can you fly? Ss: I can’t fly. T: Can you fly like a bird?
      Read: I can run. But I can’t fly. (Point to the blackboard)
      (3)(CAI)T: What can he do? Teach the word “jump”. Can you jump like a rabbit? Ss: Yes, I can jump. (学生在回答问题地同时又操练了句型。)
      (4)(CAI)T: What’ he doing? Teach the word “swim”. T: It’s very hot in summer. What can you do? Ss:I can swim. T: That’s a good idea. Can you swim like a fish? Can Miss Cao swim? Guess. T: I can swim. (通过信息差调动学生爱好,使学生积极投入教学活动.)
      (6)(CAI) T:What can she do? Teach the word “cook”. She can cook delicious food. Now I’m hungry. Who can cook for me? Ss:I can cook. T: In your family who can cook? Can Miss Cao cook? (师生间信息差)
      (7)(CAI)T: Look! A cat and a mouse. This cat wants to catch the mouse. Teach the phrase “catch a mouse”. Do you know “catch”? Can you catch? Can you catch a mouse? Ss: No, I can’t catch a mouse. T:Which animal can catch a mouse?
      (8) (CAI) T: Who’s she? She’s Miss Huang. She can use a computer. Teach the phrase “use a computer”. Can you use a computer? Ss: Yes ,I can use a computer.      (9) (CAI)T: Who’s this? It’s Miss Xiao. Your Music teacher. What can she do? She can play the piano. Teach the phrase “play the piano”. T:In your class who can play the piano? Can you come to the front and play the piano?
      (10).Let’s watch it again. Read the words and phrases.
      .Consolidation:
      1.Games.
      (1). Listen and do.(学生之间的信息差:台下的同学看屏幕说单词和短语,台上的学生做动作,这个活动促使生生互动,相互沟通,相互影响,共同完成任务。)
      (3). (CAI) Find the words and circle the words.(任务: 找出隐藏在格子里的动词,培养学生的观察、合作能力。)
      Look at the vocabulary squares.

      (通过比赛,让学生积极地运用所学语言表述更多的行为活动,促使学生思维发散.)
      .Expansion: (知识拓展)
      1. Think and discuss: What can it do?
      (1)T:In the nature there are many animals. The animals can also do many things. Please watch the screen. Which animal is coming?(CAI)It’s a monkey/ fish/ dog /Polly/cat/rabbit/horse/bird. If you were the animals what can you do? What can’t you do? Think it over.
      (2).T: Now I will give a task for each group. Please discuss what the animals can do. Each group discusses about one animal, and the animals of each group are different. (六组学生每组讨论一个动物能做什么)
      (3)。Game: Now, can you guess? What’s Group 1’s/2’s/3’s… animal? The other groups guess: Can you run/fly/jump/catch a mouse/climb a tree/swim…? Is it a…?       .Homework: Draw a bar chart by drawing squares on the board.( 课后布置了让学生以小组为单位画柱状图的作业,让学生将调查结果用图表的形式表示出来,下一节课进行展评.这个任务既可以培养学生合作精神,又可以培养学生分析处理信息的能力。)

      评析:
      1.注重以情激趣,以趣促学:教师将音乐引入课堂,如师生弹钢琴, 唱英语歌, 设置背景音乐等.使学生在轻松愉快的氛围中将学习状态调整到最佳状态,从而提高学习效率,师生弹钢琴在这节课里正好又起到了创设真实情境的作用;
      2.善于运用现代教育技术,创设真实的语境,既让学生在真实的语境中学习,又增加了趣味性,加大了课堂密度,提高了教学效率。
      3.体现了任务型教学理念:教师运用各种任务如信息差任务,个人调查任务,合作任务等,在完成任务过程中自然的运用所学语言,在使用过程中培养和发展学生语言运用能力。学习英语的最终目的是在真实的生活语境中使用英语,学习者个人的经历往往是学习的重要资源。教师在课堂设计中,先从虚拟的语境中过度到真实的语言交际,让学生学会基本句型,谈论自己,回到真实生活中。
      4.注重学生的主动参与,让学生成为课堂教学的主体,而且在整个教学过程中有全人教育意识,在教学过程中注重孩子的语言能力、思维能力的共同发展。如讨论动物一环节,每组讨论的动物不同,各组之间就存在着信息差,要想了解其他组是什么动物的话,就得了解动物的一些习性,让学生发散思维,通过思考、语言交际达到交流、沟通;在调查别人这一环节,让学生在语言能力运用的同时留意培养获取信息和处理信息的能力,让学生在各种能力上有所发展。
