2.Let the pupils understand the meanings of“up”and“down”.

pictures,tape recorder,electronic organ,pens,books,ball,computer
Teaching Procedures:
Step 1.Presentation:
(1)The teacher says and acts “Stand up! Sit down! Come here! Go back!” The students do the actions.
(2)One student acts“Come here!”,“Go back!”as a model.
When all the students know the meanings of the two sentences,do them(it)together.
Step 2.New lesson:
The teacher draws four simple pictures on the blackboard,and writes“Stand up! Sit
down! Come here!G0 back!”on the black—board.Correct the students’pronunciation.
step 3.Drills:
The students say and do the actions.Stand up! Sit down! Come here Go back!

(1)Listen to the tape and look at the screen.
(2)Say the chant after the teacher.
Up,up,stand up! Down,down,sit down!
Here,here,come here! Back,back,go back!
(3)Practise saying the chant.
4) Say and dance.
The students sit in a circle,and hold hands,say and dance together
Step 5.Practice:
Practise the four sentences in groups,and let the students become little teachers.
