一、 Warm up.and review
1 .Free talk: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today ? (Fine,thanks. How are you ?) I,m fine. Nice to see you.
设计意图：轻松的谈话，让学生不知不觉进入到学习状态，并激活已有知识，为本课的学习做预备。
2、 利用歌谣 复习星期日至六
3、教师将其打乱顺序，让学生排序 ，下面的学生数秒数。师：let,s have a race and see who is the first ? 出示单词race ，用动作帮助学生理解其意义，让学生多读几遍。
学生一起读他们的排列结果，师：Is she right ? Is he right ? Who is the first ? Who is the second ?(教师用手势帮助学生理解) 教师：The boy in ---- pants is the first . Yes ? The boy in ---- pants is the second . Yes ?
设计意图：从学生最爱玩的游戏入手，星期的词汇，同时这一环节又是下一环节的开始，自然的过渡到序数词的学习，通过实际的竞赛，学生在真实的语境中更轻易理解序数词的用法和意义。
二、 New concept
1、接上面的游戏，出示 first .second领读几遍，让学生说出其意义，板书。
2、 师；today we’ll learn ordinal numbers. 表示次序的序数词。出示数字1-12， Look ! these are numbers . can you say the numbers ? 学生齐读。师：We use the numbers to show how many. 多少个。
出示序数词1-12，look ,these are ordinal numbers. We use these numbers to show orders. 次序，顺序。Are you clear ?
设计意图：教师通过简洁的语言，说明基数词与序数词的区别，使学生在头脑中有了一个清楚的概念。
3、 出示序数词卡，first , 师领读，然后让第一排学生读。师you are the first student in your line ,yes?
