      一、 Greeting and Warm-up(打招呼热身)
      Sing a song《Twinkle twinkle little star》
      二、 Revision and leading(复习导入)
      1、 Review the words and sentences fill in the blanks.(学生充分复习单词,利用第一个字母的提示,促进学生发散思维)。
      2、 The teacher describe an animal,guess the animal.(通过老师英语的描述猜动物,既练习了听力又激活学生思维)。
      T:It’s an Australian animal that jumps along on its strong back legs,the female carry its yong in a pouch on the front of its body.
      S:(学生猜测)Kangaroo.
      T:Yes, let’s watch TV.(播放袋鼠奔跑录像,并伴有英文解释,促进学生的整体感知)。
      三、 Show and teach (呈现新内容)
      1、 Listen to the tape and answer the questions.(听录音回答问题)
      The questions are:
      (1) Where do kangaroos live?
      (2) What do they eat?
      (3) What do they drink?
      (4) Do the mother kangaroo have a special bag?
      2、 Show the key words(展示要害词)
      back legs 、 special bag、grass and leaves
      Learn to say and translate
      Game:Point and say(趣味性操练,调动不同层次学生的积极性)。
      3、 Do you want to know more about kangaroo?(过渡自然,引入课文)
      S:Yes.
      T:Please turn to page 36.
      Show the whole text to students(整体呈现课文)
      Follow the tape 2 times.
      Read the text in groups.(以三种形式小组内朗读)
      (1)Read by yourself(自读)
      (2)Follow the student who charge the groups.(跟组长读)
      (3)Together.(组内齐读)
      四、Consolidate and practice.(巩固练习)
      1、Call some students to read the text.
      2、Show there pictures.(出示光鲜亮丽的图片,吸引学生的眼球)
      Try to make sentences with “live”、“eat”、“drink”.(练习三个动词)
      Practice the sentences :
      (1)、Kangaroos live in Australia.
      (2)、They eat grass and leaves.
      (3)、They drink water.
      3、Extension(延伸) Look and say.(运用新句型以及以前学过的旧知识形容一种动物,丰富学生的英语语言运用能力)
      4、Show the picture of panda. Say something about it.
      5、Listen to a song and write the sentences about the animals.(欣赏歌曲为下节课学习歌曲做铺垫并进一步锻炼学生读写的能力)
      五、Homework(布置作业)
      1、Repeat the text.
      2、Finish the sentences.
